The main aim of this workshop is to explore the complexity and contested nature of the research-teaching nexus, and to provide participants with effective strategies to engage students in research-based learning during their undergraduate study.
This training provides new faculty members with a general introduction to teaching and learning in the UM context. The training aims to enhance colleagues’ teaching skills, with which colleagues will be able to facilitate more effective teaching and learning at UM. This training will cover topics such as principles of learning, university policies related to T&L, fundamental concepts of course design and e-learning tools including UMMoodle (UM's learning management system) and Zoom (video-conferencing tool used at UM).
