In July 2022, Prof. Katrine Wong, Director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement, achieved the status of Principal Fellow (PFHEA) of Advance HE (previously known as the Higher Education Academy).

Prof. Wong became a PFHEA after training, assessment and recommendation. This award recognises Katrine’s contributions to the development and enhancement of teaching and learning at UM and wider higher educational community. According to the latest statistics of HEA in April 2021, only 1% of the 140,000+ HEA members in the world have been certified as Principal Fellows.

The Advance HE works with higher education institutions across the world to improve higher education for staff, students and society. They are experts in higher education with a particular focus on enhancing teaching and learning, effective governance, leadership development and tackling inequalities through equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) work.

英國高等教育學會與世界各地的高等教育機構合作，學會院士來自各高等教育領域的專家，旨在透過具國際公信力之高教認證，優化教員、學生和社會的高等教育。
