CTLE held a series of Teaching Assistant Training Workshops recently that promoted core skills and knowledge to graduate students who are involved in teaching-related duties and who may go on to work at academic institutions in teaching category.

The workshop series included a total of 7 sessions: 1). Your First Day as TA: How to Prepare for the Role 2). Classroom Presence: Do’s and Don’ts of Teacher Student Interaction 3). Leading/Facilitating Discussion and Tutorials On-line and Face to Face 4). Tools that Support Learning 5). Creating and Using Grading Rubrics 6). Effective Lecturing: Developing a Mini-Lecture

This training workshop series has attracted nearly 300 post-graduate students, and over two-thirds of them have completed 6 out of 7 sessions and related assignment, received a certificate of completion.

教與學優化中心最近舉辦了一系列助教培訓工作坊，向參與助教工作的研究生提供核知識和技能，幫助他們日後繼續在學術機構協助教學工作。

工作坊共包括7個部分：1）作為助教的第一天：應如何準備自己？；2）課堂之中：教師學生互動的注意事項；3）領先/促進討論教程：在線和面對面；4）幫助學習的工具；5）創建和使用評分標準；6）有效講座：開展個人小型講座。

助教培訓工作坊吸引了近300名研究生參加，其中三分之二以上完成了課程和相關作業，並獲得了證書。
