Abstract:

In the age of Big Data, legal education in Macao faces both opportunities and challenges of computerization. What matters now is how law students can think like lawyers, with professional skills and humanity feelings. Legal training is not only about passing on received knowledge, but also an engine to stimulate curiosity and critical thinking. From AI-possible to AI-ready, legal educators need to encourage students to be more concerned about the ‘hows and whys’ of law in the classroom.
