CTLE welcomes collaborations to create customized faculty workshops
To further support faculty members in creating instructional videos, CTLE has developed an instructor's guide. If faculty members want to learn more about making instructional videos, please contact CTLE.
In March, CTLE had the pleasure of inviting Prof. Robert K. Kamei from Duke-NUS Medical School, National University of Singapore to give a professional development workshop as well as a student lecture.
CTLE has created an instructor’s guide to making instructional video and related practical blog posts focusing on blended learning. If faculty members wish to learn more about blended learning or receive guidance on implementing blended learning strategies in your courses, please contact us and we will walk you through the process.
Over 40 UM academic staff joined the event.
This workshop aims to promote academic exchange and sharing of experience to enhance optimization in teaching. The workshop attracted about 50 UM academic staff from different faculties.
During the visit, they looked at the teaching and learning centres and their studios, learning commons and interactive classrooms of the different universities, and had fruitful discussions with persons-in-charge of these centres.
This Symposium was jointly organized by Tsinghua University, Fudan University, East China Normal University, Xiamen University, Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, and Xidian University.
Katrine Wong, director of the Centre for Teaching and Learning Enhancement, received the award on behalf of UM.
