Academic Honesty Quiz

What is it?

An academic honesty quiz has been developed to promote awareness of plagiarism and academic honesty. To complete the quiz, students simply complete a quiz in an instructor’s course on UMMoodle. This quiz should take students 8-15 minutes to complete.

To prepare for the quiz, students can read the document Rules on Handling Student Academic Dishonesty, which is available from the Registry.

When to use it?

This quiz would work well as an activity to conduct in the first week of class, before a major written assignment, or for a course that looks at citizenship or ethics. The quiz can be assigned as homework by an instructor, and followed up in a class discussion.

How to get it?
