On 29 Jul-1 Aug, Prof. Katrine Wong, Director of CTLE, attended as a keynote speaker at the 17th International Conference on Blended Learning and the 10th International Symposium on Educational Technology, held in Macao and hosted by the Centre for Data Science under Institute of Collaborative Innovation of the University of Macau and Hong Kong Metropolitan University.

Her keynote presentation focused on the implications of blended learning and generative AI (GenAI) in teaching and learning in higher education. She looked at recent scholarship on GenAI and blended learning, and shared strategies for delivering blended learning to maximize the benefits for instructors and learners in an AI-infused educational landscape.

The conferences focused on several hot topics, including Blended Learning, GenAI, Chatbot, Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR) and their applications in education. The event attracted over 100 researchers from around the world and providing a platform for academic, pedagogical and technological innovation exchange.

7月29日至8月1日，教與學優化中心主任王嘉祺教授出席了由澳大協同創新研究院數據科學中心與香港都會大學在本澳合辦的〝第17屆國際混合學習會議 暨 第10屆教育技術國際研討會〞。

王教授發表了主題演講，重點探討如何通過混合學習和人工智能來提升高等教育的教與學，並分享相關調查及研究成果，以及在科技學習環境中施行混合學習的策略，讓師生得益。

一連四日的研討會和會議聚焦於多個熱門話題，包括混合式學習、生成式人工智能、聊天機器人、虛擬現實、增強現實及其教育應用等領域，吸引了來自世界各地的100多位學術研究人員參加，為促進學術、教學和科技創新交流提供平台。
