On 31 Jan, CTLE held a professional development workshop on reflective teaching for inclusive education in higher education. This workshop aims to promote academic exchange and sharing of experience to enhance optimization in teaching. The workshop attracted about 50 UM academic staff from different faculties.

Professor Vivian Wing Yan LEE from the Centre for Learning Enhancement And Research (CLEAR) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) shared her insights and experience in the field. She believes reflective teaching to be a personal journey that requires self-motivation and a willingness to learn from one’s own experiences as well as peers.

During the workshop, she demonstrated the internal and external processes of reflective assessment. She provided examples of using teaching journals and student feedback for self-reflection, and, through video viewing, suggested strategies and considerations that colleagues could adopt for class observations. Practical techniques that faculty can use in their own classrooms have also been discussed.  (Download PPT) (Watch Videos)

教與學優化中心辦工作坊　鼓勵老師利用教學反思促進教與學

1月31日，教與學優化中心舉辦了教師專業發展工作坊，主題探討在高等教育中的教學反思和全納教育，活動旨在加深學術交流和經驗分享，促進教與學優化，吸引約50名澳大教學人員出席。

香港中文大學學能提升研究中心李詠恩教授分享了她在該領域的見解和經驗，她認為反思教學是一種個人旅程，需要自我激勵並願意從自己和同儕的經驗中學習。

工作坊上，她展示了反思評估的內部和外部過程，她提供了使用教學日記和學生回饋進行自我反思的例子；透過觀看實際課堂影片，她提出同事們可在課堂觀察中採用的策略和須知，並討論了老師們可在課堂上使用的實用技巧。（下載PPT）（觀看影片）
