On 15 Mar, CTLE held a hands-on series of making instructional videos. At the 3-hour workshop led by Mr. Fernando Wong, 15 UM colleagues were introduced to a range of different styles of instructional videos, and were taught the basics of filming. They also learnt about lighting and sound, as well as learning how to draft scripts and use teleprompters to deliver their lines.
The workshop also provided an introduction to Camtasia, an all-in-one software for screen-recording and editing. This powerful tool is now available on all computers in CTLE studios. Collegues are encouraged to make use of it in their future video projects.
