Facilitators: Prof Katrine Wong (FAH), Ms. Miranda Ma (ELC)
Facilitating discussion is a task that teachers often do. However, unless you are a natural, it takes quite a bit of practice to lead a successful and engaging discussion. This workshop aims to help you practice and develop your skills as an effective facilitator. The workshop begins with a brief sharing on the Do’s and Don’ts for face-to-face tutorial/discussion and followed by a presentation on online conferences/discussion. There will be an opportunity for hands-on discussion activities. It is our hope that participants will leave the session with more ideas on how to lead discussions more effectively.
